Hi, I'm Iris Robert
Hi there! I’m Iris — the girl behind the lens.
I’m a 29-year-old island girl from a little slice of paradise called Saipan (pronounced sai-pan), a tiny island in the Pacific Ocean shaped like a dinosaur — seriously, check it out on Google Earth!
Airisu Photography was founded in 2022 after two years of working non-stop with Instacart and Shipt. During that time, God placed a calling in my heart—to finally pursue what I truly love. The name “Airisu” comes from how my name is written in Japanese, and it just felt right—simple, unique, and meaningful.
These days, I call Los Baños, California home, where I live a grounded and joy-filled life surrounded by the things (and creatures) I love most. I’m a proud cat mom to Michiko and Cloud, Shadow+, dog mom to Bucha. Outside of photography, I have a deep love for homesteading and cooking. Whether I’m tending the garden or experimenting in the kitchen, I find joy in creating a life that’s rooted, intentional, and abundant.
Photography has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. From the moment I first held a camera, I knew there was something special about freezing time—capturing raw, honest emotion through a lens. What began as a hobby has grown into a business, but for me, it’s always been more than just taking pictures—it’s a calling.
Every time I step behind the camera, I see it as an opportunity to serve—with love, joy, and a heart that reflects Christ. My business is more than a creative outlet—it’s a ministry, a way to share God’s peace and presence in the middle of our fast-paced world. I don’t just take photos—I document memories, preserve moments, and create something that lasts a lifetime.
